Creative Life: October Review

Been reflecting a lot on my direction this month and created this Journal page in the process: In Search of my True North.

Courageous Creativity was the name of the game this month.  I feel I did stretch myself over the course of October so I’m going to take it as a win overall.

Monthly goals:
Remember birthdays. -Check.  Some late as usual but all sent out:)

Complete unfinished September’s goals. Check – creative crafters night happened!  It was great to get together and craft with company.

Daily/weekly goals:
Do one creative thing daily. 80% check.  Really enjoying my Zen class.

Go to bed at a reasonable hour. 65% check.

Exercise three times per week doing exercises I enjoy. Dismal fail!  I got very sick this month and just living felt like a workout:)

Compile photos of my works into a current portfolio. Didn’t happen.  Have put this on the list for next year’s creative life goals:)

Take an on-line drawing/painting class that challenges me to stretch myself and my creativity. I have been soooo enjoying Jodi Ohl’s Zen Painting On-line Workshop: Pathways and Connections. It’s taking me longer and will spill into next month for sure (realistically also December as well:) but I’m loving the process.
